Beautiful holiday home with a wonderful panoramic view in the middle of nature. We stayed there in winter, and the tiled stove (whose warmth we greatly appreciate) is the main heat source. Since we love this warmth, we used it gladly. But there were also other heat sources. We prefer a cooler sleeping area, and due to structural conditions, that was also possible.
We found a very clean holiday home, and the landlord was very friendly. He provided very useful information and was very accommodating. We felt very comfortable.
What follows is nitpicking at a high level: Since we enjoy cooking and rarely dine out, a dishwasher was something we missed. Therefore, "only" 4 stars for the equipment. The lack of internet access was not relevant to us at all.
We wanted to unwind. The large grounds around the house (truly huge) are only partially fenced. I believe around 6000m2. For dogs with hunting ambitions, this should be known, as it is really close or in the forest. In grazing season (which we did not have at this time of year), the cows should also be considered (as they are relatively close to the holiday home). I only mention this as a dog owner. For families with small children, this is probably great ;)))))
We loved it and would love to come back.
We were happy to spend the long weekend there with 2 dogs and would be delighted if we could come back.

Wonderful break

I just realized that I haven't reviewed this accommodation yet. We have been here twice already, unfortunately both times too short. The location is as described, right on the edge of the forest. The chickens and peacocks roam freely here and there are also horses. The cozy apartment is in an annex and is big enough for a family with one or two children. Everything you need is available and when we arrived, small vases with wildflower bouquets were placed in the apartment. Very attentive! At the time of our trip, there was a table football in the hall on the ground floor, which was gladly used, and board games were played in the beautifully grown garden. Markus willingly explains everything about the animals to children, which is of course exciting. There is a lot to discover all around, Edersee, Wildpark, the TreeTopWalk, Bad Wildungen or Fritzlar can be easily reached from the mill. We hope to be able to stop by again this year, hopefully for a few more days.

Very nice hosts, we were warmly welcomed and the vacation apartment has everything you need and more, everything very clean and tidy.
The landscape is simply a dream, very quiet and lots of space for children or walks.
To make it short, we had a few very nice days there :)
